  • F.E.A.S.T. Listing of Advocacy, Resources, and Support. F.E.A.S.T. believes that parents can be powerful advocates. We are dedicated to parent eating disorders advocacy around the world. Below are some links related to advocacy and some additional resources and support.
  • Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment (F.E.A.S.T) options:
    • Online Forum: Free service provided for parents of those suffering from eating disorders. It is moderated by kind, experienced, parent caregivers trained to guide you in how to use the forum and how to find resources to help you support your family member.
    • Private Facebook Group: FEAST’s services are focused on supporting caregivers. We ask that the discussions on this page relate primarily to caregiving issues, the science of eating disorders and treatment.
    • Men of F.E.A.S.T: Calling all FEAST dads and partners: learn new skills, ask questions, benefit from support, and become part of our Men of FEAST community!
  • Mom2Mom Eating Disorder Family Support Network: (Private Facebook Group): Mom2Mom is a community that was created by moms, for moms. We believe no mother should walk this journey alone.
  • National Alliance for Eating Disorders Virtual Support Groups: Friends and Family, Pro-Recovery, and LGBTQ+ Pro Recovery groups.
  • National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA):
    • Forums: Virtual Support for Maintaining Recovery, Working Toward Recovery, Siblings, Partners/Spouses, Parents, Children, Males, and Friends.
    • Search Tool for Support Groups: This search tool will help you find a support group or eating disorder research study in your area. If you host a free eating disorders support group in your area, submit your group to be included in our listing.
    • NEDA Network Virtual Support Groups: The NEDA Network is a partnership between NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association) and other mission-aligned organizations dedicated to advancing the field of eating disorders and building a community of support and hope.
    • NEDA Helpline: Contact the NEDA Helpline for support, resources, and treatment options for yourself or a loved one who is struggling with an eating disorder. Helpline volunteers are trained to help you find the support and information you need.
  • National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD):
    • Support Groups: ANAD pioneered the eating disorder peer support group more than 45 years ago, and today we are the largest peer support resource for eating disorders in the country.
    • Recovery Peer Mentors: ANAD’s Recovery Mentorship Program offers free eating disorder support online for those who struggle with eating disorders but are motivated to recover.
    • Grocery Buddies Guide: The ANAD Grocery Buddies Support Service is a training guide that will teach a friend, family member, or other loved one (the Grocery Buddy) to support someone in recovery from an eating disorder as they work towards their recovery goals.
  • Eating Recovery Center (ERC): Support groups open to ‘Community Members’ and ‘Family and Caregivers’ (prior treatment at ERC not necessary)
    • Eating Disorders Family Connection (Private Facebook Group): This group was created to provide ongoing support and resources to those who have loved ones who are in recovery from an eating disorder. Within this group, you will be able to interact with other caregivers, share your triumphs and challenges, and get resources.
    • Binge Eating Connection (Public Facebook Group): A space for discussion and support for those affected by uncontrolled eating, overeating, emotional eating, and night eating, and their impact on individuals and society.
  • Recovery Record: Eating disorder management from the privacy of your mobile phone. Replace paper homework with a mobile application to see improvements in treatment engagement and the complete clinical picture.
  • Bring Your Brokenness: Faith-based, virtual, peer-led support group.
  • FindingBalance: several faith-based programs, online classes, and groups.
  • Diabulemia Facebook Support: private Facebook group for all suffering from the co-morbidity of diabetes and eating disorders.
  • Timberline Knolls: online resources hosted by Timberline Knolls, as well as other organizations.
  • Alsana Treatment Centers: weekly virtual support group.
  • Beat Eating Disorders: located in the U.K., multiple online support groups.
